This is where our V.A.L.I.D Model™ comes into play. It’s a critical process we follow to ensure that every aspect of your idea is tested and refined before we begin building the Early Lovable Solution (formerly known as the MVP).

V.A.L.I.D. is a step-by-step process that systematically and progressively tests and refines your idea, reducing risk and significantly increasing your chances of success.

V.A.L.I.D. stands for:

𝗩 – 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀: The foundation of any successful product is solving a real problem. In this step, we focus on understanding and verifying the actual needs of your target customers. This involves direct customer interviews and market research to ensure that you’re addressing a pain point that truly matters.

𝗔 – 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝘀: Once you’ve validated the problem, the next step is to assemble simple, low-fidelity prototypes. These are early versions of your solution that allow you to gather feedback and ensure your proposed concept resonates with your audience.

𝗟 – 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: With feedback in hand, it’s time to test your assumptions about market interest and demand. This step often involves launching a smoke test landing page or running small-scale marketing campaigns to gauge real-world interest in your solution.

𝗜 – 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀: Based on the feedback and data collected, you’ll iterate on your designs. This means refining your solution, developing more detailed prototypes, and making sure the product concept is ready for further validation.

𝗗 – 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Finally, before moving to full-scale development, you simulate the final product experience. Whether through a Wizard of Oz approach or a concierge MVP, this step is about ensuring that your solution effectively addresses the customer’s pain point and is ready for the market.

In other words, the V.A.L.I.D Model™ takes your initial idea, tests it, refines it, and turns it into a concrete, actionable plan for building your Early Lovable Solution.
